Makes noise but jets do not work
Is intake clogged? sounds like impeller has come loose from pump if not.Take a garden hose and feed water back from a jet(closing/plugging others) to see if it flows back out intake checking for obstuctions. Are jets all the way open and water level well above intake?

Not enough hot water in the shower even if I turn the handle all
Your valve has an anti-scald feature which automatically adjusts the water temp if cold water is diverted to another location, e.g., a flushed toilet, washing machine filling, etc. Most valves have an adjustment screw to allow you to set the temp. Since each manufacturer is different you'll need the manual or contact the manufacturers support. BTW, these anti-scald valves are being added to building codes in many parts of the U.S.

Slow drain in the bathtub, cannot use a snake
Be best to use a chemical drain unblocker, Mr Muscle or similar. Possible Caustic Soda. Usually all the hair and grime clog up, chemical unblockers usually do a good job of removing this.

Bathtub chips
To fix small porcelain bathtub chips, you can use acrylic nail polish that matches the bathtub color. Just get some fine sand paper to remove any rust, then clean with alcohol, let it dry, and then touch up with the nail polish. Use a hair dryer on high heat to help dry faster, but wait several hours after to use.

Bathroom sink needs new drain, leaks under counter
Is it a new sink? Most of the time if it's new you'll have to get more pvc pipe because the new tail piece that comes with the new faucets usually is either longer than before or shorter. Yes you can get another tail piece or you may be able to by a longer pvc piece to to hook up the the metal tail piece. Make sure you have the plastic seals inside the pipe where they attach together or it will leak. Once you have it all together close your stopper and fill the sink with water and then pull the sink stopper and watch for leaks if it dont leak then it wont leak.

Sewer gas smell every time the tub is emptyed
Hi,
If you are getting a gas smell when the tub is emptied it is because you either do not have a big enough vent pipe or your vent pipe is plugged.
I have seen cases where a vent pipe has sagged enough to trap condensate and rain water and plug that way. Find what is the actual cause can be difficult and time comsuming. Often times the cause is hidden over a ceiling or behins a wall.
I have fixed them already but installing a "cheater vent" or "Studor" vent under a vanity cabinet that is close to the tub. These vents are just a one way valve that will let air into the line but not back out.
Your problem is because when the water goes down it replaces some air with water volume. That air comes bubbles back up the piping and creates a smell.
I hope that this will help you to solve your problem!
Thanks for using Fixya!!

For years we have been dealing with sewer gases
I once solved a problem like this -- it was the bathtub drain which had no P-trap on it. This could fit your situation -- when the drain is snaked there is less waste to produce odor. When the line gets sludge in it again, the odor returns.
No p-trap means the odor can come up thru the line with nothing to stop it.
Has anyone checked to see if all fixtures have p-traps? One way to investigate, if you can't see the plumbing, is to run drain water somewhere in the house and see if you can hear the drain water running when you put your ear to each of the plumbing fixture drains.
You would probably have to run the drain water from a fixture which is "in front of" the fixture you are checking so the water would run past it on the way to the main drain.
