well some times the things your father may download may be to big(such as GB or MB) so it may cause your harddrive to internally have to catch up because of the lack of spacde it may hold.

sounds like the internal memory card is either corrupt or they weren't bothered to format the region for EU/UK. I suggest you either send it back or sell it on ebay to get another replacement within the UK. Chinese vendors will evade any costly responsibility in my experience.

I just figured this out myself...on your pc go to getjar.com. When it asks you what phone you have type in CECT and select the default phone. when you find the app you want select download n it'll give you a code. Go to services on your phone and select WAP. go to m.getjar.com. under platforms select JAVA. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and select quick download. input the code you got from the computers webpage and click download....then just follow the prompts. when you want to access what you downloaded go to JAVA in your phone. select Installed Java Software and it should be listed. (Note: this only works if you've set up internet on your phone.)

my advice return it while you can, it dosent go half the tings a proper iphone and dose not work with itunes.

maybe you didnt put it on the corect slot or you need to go to settings and it tells you what sim slot do you want to use for your sciphone i9+++ because i have one.
