I have an s10-3 idea pad and have somehow disabled the cursor. How do I get it working again please?

Go to Control Panel, Hardware and Sound, Devices and Printers. Select "Mouse". Check to see what the settings are there and if you can reenable your device. It will probably be under "Hardware". If that doesn't work, go to lenovo.com and download and reinstall the device drive for your touchpad device.

Touch screen keeps freezing

Does the screen also freeze if you are using a mouse instead of touching the screen? If the freezing still occurs, then the problem is NOT the touchscreen. If it works OK with the mouse then you may need to have the touchscreen repaired. If freezing occurs even with the mouse the cause may be one of several. Right-click on the Windows taskbar and select Task Manager. The task Manager box tells you if your processor is working very hard (any reading that continues to hover near 100% indicates some program or process is overworking your system. Task Manager also shows a list of processes and how much cpu % each process is using. Another possibility is that to run everything you want may require more RAM memory. In general, 4GB or RAM is enough, but if you're running a lot of programs/apps at the same time then you may wish to boost your total amount of RAM to 8GB or more.

Why my laptop takes a lot of time to start ?

Your laptop may be due for a reformat, if you have been using it for many years without. Otherwise you may need to scan for viruses/spyware, uninstall uneeeded programs, if you have multple anti-virus programs running at one time for example this can cause a lot of slowdown. YOu may need to run disk defragment, but without knowing what model or laptop you have it's difficult to provide more assistance.

How do I download pictures from a SD card to my computer?

With the SD card plugged into the computer, go to "My Computer" if XP, "Computer" if Windows Vista or 7, or "This PC" if Windows 8. You should see the SD Card listed as a drive with a letter like D: or E:, double click it, then look for your pictures on the SD Card, hint - they may be under a folder called DCIM. Once you find your pictures, highlight them and right click, choose copy, then click "Pictures" on the left side in the folder tree, and right click the space to the right where your pictures are located. Click paste. That should put your pictures into your "My Pictures" folder.
