Toshiba satellitep205d-s7438 won't boot up
You need to be more specific and tell what happens when you plug in the power cord and press the power button. There are a number of reason why a computer will not boot, but if you tell what's going on someone can help you.Computers don't boot for basically the following reasons, 1) the power supply is bad. That means when you plug it in you don't see any lights, and when you press the power button nothing happens, you hear no fans, no beeps, no blinking lights, no hard drive spinning, no cd drive clicking and nothing appears on the lcd screen. 2) A motherboard issue, usually when this happens you will either see blinking lights or hear beeps. Those blinking lights and beeps are codes that tell the technician what is really going on. 3) Static Buildup - try removing the battery and the power cord then Press and Hold the Power Button for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds put the power cord back in (leave the battery out) and Press the Power Button. If it boots up you had static buildup and can replace the battery, count your blessings and Thank The Lord cuz a dishonest repairman would have told you he had to replace the motherboard for $300

A/c adapter is not working
Does the adapter wiggle around when it is plugged into the computer? if so it may not be the Adapter itself but the connection in the computer. if you know a friend with a similar adapter ask to use theirs. if not theres a chance the adapter is burnt out. also. does the computer work on just battery power? or does it NEED to be plugged in? if so then it could be a battery issue and not the adapter at all. hope this helps

I need a guide in order to upgrade the memory of
This is real easy underneath you will see a large flap undo the screws hold it, and remove, you will see the RAM slotted into the socket, simply obtain the correct RAM for your laptop, and slot it in besides, or instead of, replace cover, and reboot, it will automatically be detected and used. If you have done it before then you are on your way to being an expert.. Oh we always say and "X" is an unknown quantity, and a "Spurt" is "Drip" under pressure...Xpert... < Joke.

Bootmgr is compressed !
Assuming that this is an NTFS drive, you can try starting in safe mode with a DOS prompt. Then use the dos utility to uncompress the target drive.
Another way that is probably more appropriate is to slave the drive into a working PC. This way you can see what is on the drive and copy it to the working PC before you have to FDISK the drive and reinstall the OS (Operating System).

Help my toshiba showing me bootmgr is compressed
Hello.
Your system files are corrupted.
Boot your system to Safe Mode (press F8 repeatedly). Go to System Restore and choose a date when your system worked OK. Note: with System Restore, everything, including your documents and other files you saved on the hard drive, will roll back to that date.
Hope this helps.

My toshiba p205d s7438 cpu is 101 it is overheated
Did you get a laptop cooling pad or fan I would go with the pad chances are that if laptop is getting hot and the fan works you have more problems than the fan but I would try the cooling pad first but would be making sure I have some sort of backup that I was sure worked.
