if the pattern is same everytime you turn on the laptop.... then the problem is with your screen.....and not with any other hardware or software. if the pattern is not same..then i recommend you to connect another monitor to your laptop and check if you can see similar patten on that screen too..if you do then the problem is with your graphics chip... hope that helps!

Once you remove the chassis cover, the harddrive, optical drive & its fan, then you will see that the processor is covered with the heat sink or another term for it is thermal unit. You will not remove the entire motherboard of this laptop since the thermal unit is placed above the processor wherein the processor is placed at the center part of the motherboard. try taking out the battery and unplugging the power cord from it and then holding down the power button for the count of 5 the long way 1 one thousand two one thousand ect.... this will drain back the power from the board and it just might boot after you plug everything back in again and try to power it back on
