Samsung RS2534 Side by Side Refrigerator "making big ice" Questions

...... I have a GE.. the ice maker broke at about 13 months..I replaced it... it broke again.. its plastic and will break again...so I get no crushed ice... just big cubes..I am not replacing again!!.
