center of the hub cap an move up about 3 inches, you will see a groove this is the center cap..u need to pry into this groove to remove the cap..it will be slightly difficult to do this use some force

center of the hub (the cap would be poking you a the center of the hub, and is about 2 inches in diameter. There should be a cotter key or something preventing the spindle nut from turning. Remove it.

plastic tool you have removes the hub cap. There is a metal end on the one side of the tool to remove the center cap. Pry it off. Then the tool will fit in to the plastic nut that holds the hub cap on
