your tv channels via your dvd recorder so it record and if your dvd recorder will passthrough the signals you can probably wtach tv on one channel and then record on a different one. good luck. smeags

on TV 2, but you can change the record preference to TV 1 which will cause recordings setup to default to TV 1. To do that go into the Menu -> Preferences (8) -> Record Plus (5). Hope that helps
