DISH Network 811 HD DTV Receiver "dynex remote closed captioning" Questions

...time I want to turn c.c. on or off. why does DYNEX TV remote not turn the c.c. on or off, when using comcast? I hope this was resolved but this is a dish page and I am unable to answer Comcast
