Sony RDR-VX555 "dvd player invalid format" Questions

R + or - And when it is compatible with CD / DVD R, put the files on the disk in a format the player can read. Don't try to play MP4 disks, because almost no MP4 format is compatible with w DVD player

I am connecting a new dvd player to my LED tv as component 1 when I try to play a dvd I get the message invalid format Is it licensed DVD or it was burned?

Have cyberhome dvd working except I just get audio, no vedio. On screen says invalid format. Tried other was and sill the same. The recording on disc might not supported to your player.

DVD player has been working fine since we got it and we have been very happy with it. It is connected via HDMI cable to a Sony Bravia TV KDL37M4000. Yesterday we tried to play a DVD and all we got was

Invalid Format using AV then Comp. and still just audio. Check the format settings.  Go to its menu option.
