Kenwood KVT-617DVD Car DVD Player "sound cd" Questions

CD IS SELECTED NO SOUND EMERGES. SO I PUT ON THE DUAL ZONE. AND THE ONLY WAY TO HAVE SOUND IS TO HAVE ONE ZONE TUNER, AND THE OTHER DVD. WHEN I REVERSE THEM OF COURSE THE SOUND WILL SHIFT EITHER FRONT
