...and see what you can find. Fuse F1 / 250mA fails for no apparent reason. It is on the AC power input circuit board which is under the platter and black plastic cover

...dead SL1200 / 1210 is usually just down to a blown fuse on the power input circuit board which is under the platter and the sub platter cover. It is marked "F1" and is a timelag / 250mA / 20mm

are 2 internal fuses. One of them (F1, 250mA) does randomly fail causing a dead deck. It is easy to change - it is on the mains power input circuit board underneath the platter and black plastic cover
