hooked up for the PIP . you will just get a black screen ... you should be able to move that PIP around and change its size .. indeed turn it off .. look for a menu item called PIP .. select PIP off .

dark PIP almost covers screen no images on this dark area - Pip still works but is very dark. I think you have the text close caption on try turning off the close caption good luck
