Toshiba 56HM195 56" Projection HDTV "rec light stays" Questions

...Rec light starts flashing and it turns itself right off. I know I should "pitch it", but any suggestions to how I can fix it for now? Thanks sounds like a deflection/convergence fault.requies service ...
