Riccar R650 "2950 sewing machine" Questions

...singer 2950 will not sew the begining and end stitches to a buttonhole and it will not do any button hole sewing, automatically. i have to feed the fabric, stop it and then reverse. Check the bobber

2950 buttonhol-er stitches only one side of the buttonhole. It does not reverse and finish the buttonhole. What to do?? Have you pulled down the buttonhole trigger lever at the back of the sewing area

bobbin thread bunches up in machine remove bobbin; remove spool; look on side of bobbin case for a tiny screw (bobbin tension) adjust screw untill top and, bottom thread lock is the same

last step im on "preparing the machine" in the owners book. i cant figure out the last step I do not have access to the manual for this model. Please provide more information as to what you are doing.
