on a call, you have to hold down the right outside edge, or ring, of the center key. While holding it down, turn up the volume button on the right side of your phone. It worked for me. Hope this helps

I can hear my Nokia N72 ringing but cannot hear the caller when answering the call and also caller cannot hear me talking, why? Have you checked if the voice call volume has been turned right down.
