Black screen during record Audio only, no video on playback. contacted Sony chat assistance. It is a warranty glitch. I have to send it to Sony, but they will repair free of charge. thks 4 the reply

it dropps out? if it's noticed during playback it's one 3 things. the heads are dirty, the tape tension is low or the heads are bad. send it to video tech service in sacramento. that guy is super cool
