scan. Orange light blinks When I press the scanner button the top power button starts blinking but the machine does not scan. I have not used the scanning function on this machine before. Please help.

Snap the glass top back on, front to back, and replace screws. You should be good to go! I sure hope this helps whomever, because this is a great little printer/copier that I almost tossed. Here it is
