Hitachi 43FDX15B 43" Rear Projection Television "pic sound" Questions

and pic 1/2 of the screen work. The screen want show a whole pic just the sound. what could be the problem cheaper to just buy a new tv mate,sounds like the pixels for that half of the screen are gone
