no files upgrade ur palyer bro, i always saw you replying to upgrade a player how about telling how to upgrade the player...

won't read disc check whether you cd is of the right choice, try to clean your lens with appropriate cd cleaner. or replace the lens.

its an ic within the power section of the player initially fuse kept blowing up shorted fuse and that part blew, its got 7 pins 3 on one side and 4 on the other IC NUMBER IS MIP2C4
