variable speed not working The variable speed function is controlled by the switch.  If you only have off and full on, the only fix is to replace the switch (Bosch Part Number 2607202013).

lost variable speed if the variable speed is gone you would need to replace the switch. MAKE note of how you remove it because they are polarity sensitive.
