My Hotwater plug was broken so i have bought another one but it will not go back into the hole, the plug is the same size as the one that was broken, But The plug will not go into the hole at all.

Get a tap for the same size threads (probably 3/4 pipe) and run it into the fitting a couple of turns. Don't go all the way - a few turns should remove any burrs that are preventing you from starting the plug. Get professional help if you don't think you want to handle this.

Have no gravity fill for freshwater, only hose fitting with lever for city water or tank fill. tried funnel with hose fitting, but won't drain into RV. How can I use a pail when no hookups are near?

I don't know what you will use, but when I am dry camping, my combined black and grey water tanks hold twice the fresh water tank capacity. SO: .... to fill it, I got a NEW 5 gallon yellow (diesel) plastic fuel tank('can') ..... (caution: do not put fuel into it), and used a drill pump (available for less than $8.00 from Harbor Freight) to pump fresh water from the 5 gallon 'can' into the fresh tank. repeat until filled. Since we live fulltime in a 5th wheel, I have my tools with me all the time.

buying a new, unused fuel container (5 gallon) , ensures no fuel contamination of your fresh water supply and tank. ALSO: get a NEW drill pump and do NOT use it for waste water or other fluids, keep in a small container for fresh water use ONLY..... recommend you let it dry thoroughly after each use.

What is the tow bar down load on a Jayco Penguin please? Buying a new car and need to know please.

Jayco makes a number of different Penguin models, so no sure answer can be given. In general, best towing happens with about 15% of trailer's weight on the tongue.

De-winterizing RV (2011 Jayco 29 QBH) when hit the battery pump switch, water shoots out city water connection.

Remove the screen/washer at the city valve and you see a small stem in center of valve, that's the plunger (check valve ) . Use a pair of needle-nose pliers if necessary to push it in ( it should have spring behind it) slightly and make sure it is centered in the hole, then just pull on it slightly to seat it. Now try pump. If it won't seat properly and water still shoots out, it's probably defective and needs changing. Perhaps whoever winterized it forgot to push that in after pumping antifreeze through system, which results in water trapped in valve, thus freezes and breaks apart inside. If your stuck, screw a plug the right size into the city water fitting. Short piece of old garden hose with male end & plug (old bolt or anything proper diameter) and small hose clamp in other end will work for temporary use even.

Slider gear replace broken gear

You will need to determine the manufacturer of the slide mechanism, the diameter and number of teeth on the gear. Once you have all of the information you should be able to order a replacement gear from your local RV parts department. To replace you will need the unit on level, solid ground. Place a good jack close to where the gear is located. The purpose of the jack is to support the slide while the gear is out. Do not try raise the slide more than is necessary to remove the gear. Remove the bolts holding the gear and remove the gear pack. You may need to use pry bars to assist. If so, use a block of wood against the floor of the slide to pry against. Reverse the procedure to install new gear and ensure the timing of the slide mechanism does not jump.

Cracks in front and rear end caps

Damage from accident or stress? Either way you are better off finding someone who is good with fiberglass and body repair to have them rebuild and reinforce the nose and tail caps.
