On some later model Montana 5th wheels, there are actually three holding tanks which will eventually require draining. (two grey tanks, 1 for the kitchen sink(s) and 1 for the bath tub & bathroom sink, and one black tank, obviously the toilet...) The two most used drain valves (1 black & 1 grey) are together in the docking station area where the city water supply is hooked up, the other (kitchen sink) is at the left rear of the coach behind the farthest rear wheel along the frame. (That is where "Keystone" installed the grey tank for the galley, or kitchen if you prefer.)
If certain it is the black tank which won't dump when the black tank valve is pulled, there is a restriction before the valve (or the valve itself is not opening hence a broken cable to the valve?) One might try "snaking" up into the sewer line, measuring the distance from the outlet to the valve location, assuring it is either open or closed. Once that has been determined, you will at that point have to remove the sewer line at the valve for repair. Be sure to wear latex gloves and eye protection and have a drain pan or bucket handy for spillage which can be collected and dumped down your home toilet or outside sewer clean out if you know its location.

1998 Winnebago Chieftain draining fresh water tank and water is going into the gray water holding tank instead of draining out on the ground. How can that happen?

Fresh water drains should go directly onto the ground, not into another tank. I'd think a previous owner made the modification you describe. I'd correct it and allow fresh water tank drain go onto the ground.

Were is the drain plug on my holding tank on my 2003 mobile scout 5th wheel.

the grey water is your shower and sink drain tank. the black water is your... you know. the two combine to the dump that's held together with a bypass for grey water to flow into the black tank and vice versa so you can flush the black tank further. all of this comes out the end into your dump out for black and grey. If your talking about white water (potable) holding tank, filling this drains through the use of it, run the shower outside or hold flush down until it drains. otherwise. the hotwater tank will drain with the anode when you regularly change that once a year as directed by people who camp once a year - change that anode -

Keystone Raptor 3110TT 2007 and fresh water holding tank. What size PEX cap do I need to prevent water from running out of my drain. Can't fill up water holding tank.

The water tank drain should have a shut off valve to prevent water leak. I wouldn't cap it, you should want to drain water tank on occasion.

Can you get water in LP lines when filling RV w/ propane? Frig quit on propane, worked on electric. Had filled w/ propane two days earlier. mechanic found oily water in line; range still worked.

Yes water can do compensation build up in your propane tank. Some tanks have a drain pit on bottom reclaim propane and open the pit. If your does reclaim the propane and drain tank. If not reclaim propane and remove tank then remove filler valve turn tank over drain access water leave tank up side down over night. Put fill valve back on and mount tank. After lines are back on turn stove on leave on for 48 hours. Turn valves off and refill tank. Best of luck.

There is a valve underneath the coach, same area as the back passenger wheel. Periodically I notice water dripping from it, why?

If it is a big valve it is your sewer tank drain valve. There is two valves. One is the Black water drain and the other is the gray water drain. the black water drain comes from the toilet holding tank, and the gray water valve drains the shower and sink holding tank.

Where is the drain for the water tank on a 2001 Dutchmen 26 ft. travel trailer?

I assume you mean the fresh water tank. These drains can be just about anywhere, but always at a low point.

If you can't contact the dealer or manufacturer for location, look underneath the RV, under the sink, behind removable panels inside, and close to the waterpump either underneath it or in the waterpump compartment itself.

There are usually 3, freshwater tank drain, cold water line and hot water line. Some turn and some pull up. Experiment which is which or try to trace them back to origin.

How do you drain the fresh water tank without having to pump it all out into the grey water holding tank?

Find where the fresh water tank fill is located. Directly below that under the coach you should see a single low point drain for the fresh water tank. It may have a cap on it but it may also have a valve at the location of the drain hose to the tank fitting.
