most likely your idle is to high,,,,, and it is engaging the clutch,,,,lower your idle,,,,,slowly,,,,step by step,,,,till the rear wheel stops spinning,,, remember,,,,, with no one on the bike,,there is very little resistance,,,,, so the wheel will spin easily,,,,,adjust your low side r.p.m.,, and that should solve your problem,,,,,if it dosen't,,, your clutch is probably siezed up,,,, and will have to be replaced. where your throttle cable goes into the top of the carb. ,,, this is where you set your idle,,,,, the set screw is only for adjusting your richness,,,,,or lean fuel mixture,,,,, not your idle,,,

If it is a pattern part (Not Genuine) it may not be made to the same tolerances. You could try lightly rubbing the outside of the condenser casing with some abrasive paper. It may also help to cool the condenser causing it to contract slightly.

its the central google clutch, theres two springs either side and one of these springs must have seized meaning that the clutch can not open up and close, it will always be in gear, i know its a rev and go and you dont have gears but you do, you have a nuetrual and a go when the springs are shut its in nuetral when there open they go, if they are open because of the seized spring the ped is in gear there for you canot turn the engine over by kick starting it. hope i helped :D

check kill switch,side stand, fuel tap,and is in neutral.If these dont work or your bike is new and just covered only 300 to 1000km then could be valve adjustment.

Go to images.google.com and type in the year make and model followed by wiring diagram. Example: 2005 GSXR750 wiring diagram. Or other option is to buy a service manual as they most often include full wiring diagrams in the back section of the book.

what does it do when you push the start button?? click or just does nothing??
is there power to the starter when you push the start button??

LIGHTLY seat the air screw and the throttle screw. Now open both of them up one and one-half turns. Adjust idle speed with the throttle screw. Normally, the throttle screw sticks out about 1/2" to 3/4" from the throat of the carb. The air screw is short and usually recessed. If the screws have been tightened down anything more than lightly, the screw seat may have indented the screw face. If the face is ringed, the engine usually will not run well. The screws would need to be replaced. Please rate my answer. Thanks.

is there a spark a decent one if not try changing plugs if still no spark it could only be the cdi,coil and magneto get back to me buddy

Break switch is faulty. It also affects starting.

the neutral switch might be defective or the wire.
could be a bad key switch. try jiggling around with the key as you are pressing the starter button

Did you check for spark? Also try a new plug.

Had same problem,if you take the carb off,take the nylon bushing out, look into manifold side of carb,there should be a very small hole there,that is a fuel passage(idle jet),more than likely it is clogged,use a bread tie and clean it,while carb is off you may want to clean and rebuild carb,hope that helps you out.
