Hi, I have a Xingyue XY260T-4 that w,on't start. It was running great when I first got it, it had about 3800 miles, then it suddenly started bogging down past 3000 RPM without warning, then stopped working altogether. I replaced the carb because the diaphragm had a tear in it, spark plug is new, coil and all wiring is new, doesn't start even with starting fluid. It's getting fuel just fine, the starter cranks fine, everything seems to be working BUT the fact that it's not running.

IT'S FLOODED, CHANGE YOUR OIL' TAKE THE PLUGS OUT SPIN IT OVER A FEW TIMES THEN SQIRT SOME OIL DOWN THE PLUG HOLES, SPIN IT AGAIN THEN THROW YOUR PLUGS IN, IT SHOULD START, IT WILL SMOKE A LITTLE FOR 10 OR 15 MINUTES BUT IT WILL STOP. GOOD LUCK!

1997 Olds LSS: 3800 engine, 198 K miles. engine running rough, loss of power; black smoke was coming out from rear of the engine compartment.
Sounds like one or two of the many sensors may have failed,. Like everyone else said... scan it...good luck.

Cooling fan runs continuously and temp light comes on after about 2 miles and you still touch the radiator. Coolant is full. Has only 3800 miles.
Hi , It could be the light is at fault. My suggestion is If it runs great and does not overheat, put a piece of tape over the light. Good luck.

My scooter dose the same with the gas gauge it seem to be the reading gauge in the tank if you fill it up and ride it for about 40 miles you will see the gauge go up to full as the gas starts to go down.

2001 V-6 Camaro 5spd 160,000 miles starts, stalls, wont stay running. Let it sit for a few minutes will start again but still sputters and shuts down. Feels like it is not getting enough gas,wont stay on....
Do a fuel pressure test. If you have compression, and good spark, this is where you should start.

How many miles does an 1997 Buick Lesabre usually last?
Gm says a 3800 engine should last ove 400,000 miles with normal service. This engine for 97 will probably need a new plastic intake manifold one day. They will leak coolant into the combustion chamber and some un-educated mechanics will tell you that it needs head gaskets as they don't have a head gasket problem. The oil pan may leak on this car too, replace it with a fel-pro perma dry gasket and it will stop it. Mine has 297,000+ miles on it.

no the code is most likely from a dpfe sensor for you egr system not the egr valve itself.a clogged fuel filter though might cause your low revs
