Thank you for contacting FixYa with your inquiry.
Check out page 11 of the KTM owners manual from this link.

The plug may be hiding behind the brake lever. Also check page 30 of manual on same like for info on the site glass and a good illustration of the Drain Plug.
Oil Recommendation: Remove the filler plug 4 and add 0.30 l gear oil 20W30 (e.g. Motorex Top Speed 4T 15W50). Mount the filler plug and check the engine for leaks.
Hope this helps. Please advise if we can be of more service.
Kind regards,
TF

How much oil does a ktm 65 crank case hold

Hi I have a KTM 65 and it's got oil residue coming out of the exhaust, could it be from too much oil in the fuel? Or too much oil in the oil pan as I just replaced the oil pan bolt and put about 250ml of oil in it, I'm thinking that might be a bit too much?

I just bought a used ktm 65 sx and the previous owner said he always used mobil 1 0w-30 in engine. is this the same mobil 1 oil 0w-30 i see on local auto part stores?

Hi, Yes, indeedy. If it worked for the last owner then please continue. As you bike ages you can go to a synthetic oil. Its more expensive but worth it. Congrats on the new bike and be careful too.
