There is a tension adjusting bezel at the base of the choke knob. Loosen it to free up the choke action. It is a black plastic ring around the choke shaft. If the choke cable itself is not seized up, this should do the trick.

My chock knob won't stay out to Choke the carb. It's hard to start holding the knob out and turning the key and throttle at the sametime

Your choke cable needs some oil and check to see if someone put a big spring on the choke for the return position.

When I start the engine the engine revs, like the throttle is wide open. I checked the cable, and the butterflys they are working properly, What would make the engine rev?

Hello, is your choke cable/knob pulled out? If so, after starting push the choke knob into its seated position. You may need to do this slowly to prevent slalling the motor. Also a clogged or dirty air filter may cause the problem.

Weres the fuel tap and the choke on a klx 250

The knob for the choke cable should be beside the handlebars & choke should be written on it.
Just pull it up to apply the choke & push it back down when the engine warms up.

How do you chage a choke knob on a poular chain saw

If the knob is attached to a cable you will need to replace the entire cable which comes with the knob attached. You can just follow the cable and determine how to route the new one and attach it the same as now to the carb.

Where is the choke on a Suzuki marauder

Your choke is a pull out knob located under your tank; it is not a part of the carb. You might be able to trace the cable from the carb to the pull out knob.

Hard to start, following the starting prosedure shown on the top of the blower it requires 10 real hard pulls to get it to start

If you are having to pull that many times something is wrong. It should only take about two or three pulls to get it started. Prime, choke and pull one time than that the choke off and pull again. it should start.
It may have some parts loose that may need to be looked at by a shop.
Good day.

I can't start my tractor cause I can't pull the choke knob out. I have a craftsman gt5000. I shut it off, went back a few hours later and the choke knob won't pull out to get it started.

I would take some spray called deep creep and spray it into the cable housing and let it sit awhile, sometimes theyll free up. If not,may need another cable, you can always take the cable off the choke and choke it by hand.

Choke won't open or close

I think your bike has a CV carb which doesn't have a choke. It's called an enrichener. Pulling out the "choke" knob merely dumps more gas into the carb. If the bike starts normally with the knob pulled out, you do not have a problem. On a cold/cool day, pull the knob out and start the bike. If it idles faster than normal the system is working. Pushing the knob in should drop the idle speed, maybe stalling the bike if it is not fully warmend up.
