All these wires are on a sub-harness. Follow the wires up and tap on in the plug if you can. Keep in mind that this circuit is protected by a fuse. If you add other lights and stuff to the circuit, you may start blowing a fuse. If you simply put a larger fuse in the slot, you give up the protection of the wiring that the fuse is designed to deliver. If you ever get a short, you're wiring will burn before the fuse blows.

Good Luck
Steve

Last year I put LED lights/signals on my 2010 Ultra. Last week the left rear turn/running light stopped working completely. Any ideas what may be wrong? I looked at the connections into the rear brake...

Check for power at the light connector, if there is none go back up the line and check at the next connector etc if there is power at a connector then there is an open between that connector and the last one that had no power. If there is power to the light assembly itself then the assembly must be defective but you could bring known power and ground directly to it on the bike or on the bench, obviously if it works then the light assembly is good and if it does not work then the light assembly is defective.

2010 Harley Davidson FLSTF Softail Fat Boy tail light not working

Hi, Laynebk tail light issues are relatively easy to diagnose and repair always check the tail light fuse first and make sure you have power on both sides of the fuse holder and the usual suspects are:
1. Tail light bulb element is broken.
2. Tail light bulb soldered contacts are extremely worn down.
3. Tail light bulb socket corroded.
4. Tail light bulb socket has no power and or ground.
5. Tail light wiring harness damaged from the rear tire.
6. Tail light rear fender wiring harness connector faulty due to corroded, broken, or loose pins/sockets.

Brake lights stay on on 2007 ultra classic. Tail light and tour pack

The most likely cause is a stuck brake switch, probably the foot brake switch. Remove the switches and exercise them then refit. Should fix it or tell you which one has failed.

Wiring on a harley tour pack running lights and brake light. 3 wires - red/blue/ black. What is each color for?

Red-brake light,blue-running lights,black- ground, take a test light and check your wires from the bike, black to ground and positive to your wires and see if the test light works for your brake and running lights when checked individual, safest way to check if the harness don't plug up correctly...
