If you look at the top of the Induction module, you'll see if it is either black ( single looking tube ) or Silver ( Looks like 2 tubes together ) Single tube is Delphi, Silver Dual tube is Magnetti .

SOURCE: valve noise 2006 road king
Hello redevil67...This is normal for the HD engine, it going to have valve train, top end noise at some point, some as early as 2000 miles. If you take it to the dealer they will try to sell you on worn tappets...key word here SELL..I've seen this many times, dealer replaces componets, 2000 miles later the noise returns.
These are hydraulic valves and as you probably know they operate at zero lash. Personaly, i feel that the problem is that the cams are not hardened properly or machined incorrectly.. When the leading edge of the cam lobes wear to a strange profile it tends to snap the lifter up in the lifter bore. This causes the rest of the valve train to rattle. You hear the noise on top but the culprit makin it, is the cams..Many chose to go with an aftermarket cam, such as an andrews...Another suggestion, is to switch oils. Don't know what you are useing now, but i'm not a fan of dino oil. As the temperature builds the more an oil is stressed. Lucas full synthetic 20w-50 or Mobil1 15w-50 are both excellent for anti-wear and long term protection.
I hope this helps, please rate me a fixya and good luck with your bike.
SOURCE: how to replace fuel filter on harley davidson 02
I am having problems viewing the reply but if you have a FLHRCI then to replace the fuel filter you will need to be prepared to put some time into it.
First remove the console off the fuel tank, one nut below speedo and the phillips screw lower close to the seat. You will have a disconnect on the top left side of the fuel tank to disconnect. Then disconnect the vent tube from the tank with a gentle pull & twisting motion. Now the fun part there are ten torx T20 screws you need to remove, but first you must go buy new ones along with the gasket and fuel filter kit. DO NOT reuse the screws. Now for whatever reason they call this piece a canopy, go figure. Once you have your parts go ahead and raise the canopy slightly and twist it to the left a little. Now this can be tricky because there is a spring loaded hng to work here, be care not to over stress any thing. Then you can begin to pull the canopy and components from the tank. You will be limited by the convoluted tubes (hose) attached as to how far you can raise the canopy, if you remove one be careful as where they attach is plastic and breaks....easily sometimes, then you need a $350 part.
Next read and look at the diagrams that come with your new fuel filter to install it. Once done carefully reverse the canopy removal process and tighten the canopy bolts in cross pattern o somewhere between 18-27 in-lbs. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: How to change oil in 2006 HD road king
The oil tank in a Road King is on the bottom of the transmission. If you look under the transmission, you will see two drain plugs. One for the engine oil and one for the transmission. I THINK the plug closest to the left side of the bike is the engine oil. I say "I think" because the latest model that I have personally changed the oil in is a 2000 model. Drain the oil, change the filter, add new oil. If you accidently drain the transmission (check the engine oil dipstick, if it still shows oil in the tank, you drained the wrong one), the transmission takes 20-24 ounces of Harley Syn3 oil. Best to refer to an owner's manual or go to your local dealer and ask the question.

Thats not totally correct. remove your air filter cover. look to the lower right side. You will see a small hole thats where the screw driver goes in to adjust your idle. Ya the dealer has a scanlizer that can also do it if u want to spend the bucks.
