For a kwik fix you can take the shift lever off and use a dental pick and pull the seal out and replace with a new one, don't worry about messing up the one you are taking out but don't mess up the shaft. to do it right you have to remove the case on the clutch side and pull the shaft out from that side and them replace the seal.

no it is not normal to have petrol in gearbox oil ,the crank seals maybe leaking get it compression checked

What type of clutch oil do I use for my 2006 ktm 250sxf
Do you mean brake fluid for clutch pump or oil for the engine?
If you ask about oil for engine KTM recomend Motorex Power Synt 4T 10W-50.

There should be 3 white wires on both the rectifier and the harness, if the one you switched it with is pinned different then youll still have the problem.

have u touched or changed your cam chain tensionor, if the tensionor is worn out it makes that ticking noise... try calling ur local dealer. a tensionor is about $45

Just got a ktm 250sxf and can not undo petrol cap
press the btton down and turn anti clockwise. the button is where the breather pipe joins the cap.

Leaking oil from behind magneto on ktm 250sxf 07 is it a major job or can i fix my self and how
that's a big job case has to be split to change the crank seals

Oil leak on gear shifter shaft
You will want to remove the cover then use a light plastic hammer and a small punch to remove the seal. It should come out very easy. Install the new seal evenly.

will not start 2007 KTM 250 XCF-W hallo I have a 2007 ktm 250 xcf-w it will just not start hey.i checked everything and nothing worked. I took it into a bike shop and they managed to start her up after a very long time but it only idled for 15 secs or so.they think it is the conrod that is broken and causing this problem. is that possible to be the cause of a bike not starting? @
