Part of the engine's compression is getting past the piston rings and going into the crankcase. The crankcase is letting the compression out via the vent pipe as it should. A little bit of the oil splashing around in the transmission is being carried into the vent hose by the compression. The vent pipe is leaking onto the roadway soon after you start to ride ( as the revs increase ), you just didn't know it until now. When you stop riding, the oil that is still in the pipe is what leaks onto your driveway. Your bike is big enough that you don't notice any loss in power. The repair is a bit expensive; new pistons, rings, boring the cylinders, a valve job (since you already have the head pulled off, now is a good time to do it ), and the labor charge. Unless the leak is really offending you, I would just park the bike in a spot where the oil won't stain the concrete and leave my money in the bank.
