Why won't this Mazda 3 start? (Lengthy description)

No fuel pump and no ignition. That sounds like the immobiliser does not recognise the ECU or engine management system.
Good luck with that then!

Need mopar part# and location of fuel pump relay on 1998 mitsubishi galant ES sedan, 4 cylinder??

The fuel pump relay is located below the dash, in the center console area bolted to the vertical metal uprights that support the dash.
Depending on production date, the MFI and fuel pump relays may come together or separate. If together, the relay comes as a module consisting of both relays attached together on a metal bracket.
The relays are normally $27 each.

Fuel injector diagram 2001 lincoln ls v8

This will provide a basic how to or DIY on how to replace your injectors, but for your specific application, we recommend you ask in our car forum.

Before You begin, It is essential to de-pressurize your fuel system. Disconnect the power to your fuel pump, by either disconnecting it's power supply, or pulling the fuel pump fuse or relay. Once the fuel pump has no power or relay installed, crank the engine for a few seconds. The engine might start, but should die a few seconds later. If it continues to idle, then you didn't disconnect your fuel pump or the correct relay.

Once the fuel system is de-pressurized, you can begin to remove various parts from the engine bay to help clear up room. On a typical system, there is a fuel feed, and fuel return. For these types of systems, you would need to disconnect both of the lines, and then disconnect the fuel pressure regulator. The fuel injectors are held in with clips that hold the harness to the injector. Remove these clips, and pop off the wiring harnesses. The fuel rail is held in with a few bolts. Remove these bolts, and then the fuel rail should be loose. Pull the fuel rail out of the intake manifold or cylinder head, and you can now easily remove the fuel injectors.

Make sure to cover the holes that are now in the intake manifold or head. Don't let any debris fall into this hole!

Pull the old fuel injectors out of the fuel rail, and then put the new injectors into the fuel rail. Make sure you have new "o" rings and you are all set. Simply put everything back together, and then don't forget to plug your fuel pump back in. The car may be hard to start the first few cranks as the fuel pressure builds, and then you are all done!

Diagrams for the above can easily be found in a Haynes or Chiltons Manual - Failing that look on the web, Best of luck.

Cant find the fuel pump fuse in a 2002 galant

Your vehicle actually has two fuel pump relay's ! You can view fuse box diagram here http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html Enter your vehicle info. year , make , model and engine size . Under system click on electrical distribution ,then under subsystem click on junction block . Then click on the search button , then the first blue link . Scroll down you'll see fuse box diagram . Do you know how to do electrical testing where the relay plug's into the junction box ? Check for B+ voltage , control from the PCM / ECM or ECU what ever Mitsubishi call's the engine computer . The computer will energize the fuel pump for two seconds to prime the fuel system , it won't turn it on again untill it see's a input from the crankshaft position sensor while cranking the engine. Videos on youtube testing fuel pump electrical circuit .

Fuel pump cuts in but car wont start

If you have to force the fuel pump on by the relay who is controling ignition? The fuel pump will come on thru the main relay which is next to the fuel pump relay this controls ignition,go back to the begining,on one of the coil leave a 1/4 between the sparkplugwire and the coil crank the engine there should be spark is there is no spark correct for spark and fuel will return when the ECM see a valid RPM signal.so test for spark first. The Main relay is what needs to be look at

How do i change the fuel pump on a 1994 mitsubishi galant?

there should be an access panel either underneith the rear seat or in the trunk that should give access to the pump it self but before u start rippin and tearin u need to relive the fuel system of pressure what u can do is pull the fuel pump relay start the car and let it run out of fuel. the relay is prob in the fuse panel on the drivers side. dont quote me on that though. make sure u replace the fuel strainer in the tank and the fuel filter in line to the engine and put the new unit in reverse of dissasembly.

1999 galant fuel pump and related electrical issues

are you looking for fuel pump relay or fuel pump cut off switch.the fuel pump relay is under the hood close to the battery(having to be generic here because depending on the engine size battery could be on left or right) in a black box with printed nomeclature about what is inside.(fuses, relays, etc.)
fuel pump cut off switch is (if it has one) usually mounted in trunk, kick panel on passenger side of car. Easy way to find if if you have owners manual to car it will tell you there.
