The F1 is actually Fi > Fuel Injection. The sensors have detected a small problem in the Fuel Injection system. If it were a major problem, the bike would not run. Ride to a dealer and have them hook up a code reader. The reader will be able to tell you exactly what the sensors have found. Buy the part needed and install it yourself or have the dealer do the fix.

Vfr 800 fi

Hi pakie
the Fi light is fuel injection or ignition fault check fuse to ecu or engine stop relay and stop switch. Poss fault on angle sensor although unusual. If the light is flashing its a case of counting flashes to get fault code worse case is ECU fault

Placed a new battery in my 2002 vfr800 it hasnt run for aver 18 months and now it still wont start the F1 light is on and there is no nutrel light

The on board Fuel Injection ( FI ) sensors have detected a major fault in the injection system. Minor faults will alert you of a problem but still let the engine run. Major faults will not let the engine run. Take the bike to a dealer so they can plug in a fault reader to find exactly what the problem is. Be aware that the problem may actually be a bad sensor.

Were do you adgust headlight on 2001 vfr 800 f1 as mot says not right thanks

there are small holes on the upper black cowl, you will need to insert a long  X-head screw driver in there. Turn for horizontal adjustment

There are two more slots on the headlight assemble - which can be accessed from under the front cowl. X head screw driver or a 8mm spanner can be inserted. Turn for vertical adjustment

1999 Honda VFR 800 high beam light doesn't come on

Sounds like corrosion within the handlebar controls. Try opening it and spraying it with silicone lubricant.
