My seat wont stay, im not sure if they sent me a lemon or if im doing something wrong

Pull on the belts out a few times
& see if the light goes off

im not sure what car you have but my car has wiring for airbag running under the seat they are also hooked to the seat belt maybe u shorted out something with the spill

Are you sure the film is attached to the take-up spool ?

I have sent my SB-800 in for repair 2 times already and it still isn't working right.
I think the unit is a lemon!

make sure cylinder #1 is top dead center. Install your dist so that the rotor is pointing straight foreword then it should fully seat, if you are still having problems then you may have to turn the engine by hand back and forth a little until it seats. Good Luck Tim

From what I am thinking sense you changed the shims now the valve is staying open and not letting it make compression. The way to find out if this has happened is to put the piston to TDC and apply air to the cylinder from threw the spark plug hole. Then see if you can hear air coming from the carb or the exhaust if you do then that valve is open and not seating. Also check the clearance between the cam lobe and the top of the valve or shim. I hope this helps out and please let me know how things work out.

is this light on all the time or just when there is something/someone in the seat? usually if there is below a certain weight in the seat the airbag wont deploy, something like 100lbs? although im not sure about this weight in mercedes. if i place something heavy such as a bag on the seat in my bmw the dashboard light comes on. not sure if this helps?

There is a Title button (above the volume knob). Push it and hold it for 2 or 3 seconds. It was either that, or push and hold the 'Function" button on the glide bar... pretty sure it was the title button though. It will come back on.

Sometimes the stroller does not automatically unfold easily if the seat is attached. If the seat is not attached, and the stroller is still not automatically unfolding properly, there is probably something wrong with the internal spring. have you had the stroller long? Quinny says that the spring will last "virtually forever", but we all know that there are always lemons. If you have not had the stroller for a very long time, contact quinny and ask for a replacement. They have been pretty good about getting them out to clients.
