By leaving key on you killed battery.Charge up battery and if dosent take charge, need new battery.Motorcycle batteries dont take much to kill, exspecialy if it is more than 3 or 4 yearts old.

Got a suzuki gsxr srad 2000 model went out for a ride today since i brought the bike 2 weeks ago and i let her warm up with the choke up must of forgot to put it back down for the ride and now it wont...

Around 2000 was the first year for fuel injection for the GSXR 750. It really isn't a 'choke' in the true sense of the word. It's a device that causes a high idle similar to an 'enrichener circuit' to warm up the bike engine. There should be no damage to the engine by leaving it on for a short ride so I'm thinking there was an unlerlying issue with the bike that the previous owner left undisclosed.

Around 2003 that device was abandoned due to the advancement of technology in fuel injection and was no longer needed.

After typing this response I just noticed the original post date was in 2012 and I'm sure the bike has been either repaired, sold or crashed by now but maybe this answer will be helpful to someone else.....

Check for power to the starter,if no power there then make sure the kill switch isn't stuck or broken inside. If you do have power to the starter then it's probably bad.

I have a 05 gsxr 750, replaced battery, now no start.

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Initially, try starting with the clutch lever pulled in and / or the sidestand folded up.  Additionally, determine if there is a clicking sound.  If there is, then it would most likely be the starter solenoid.

Good luck and thank yu for asking FixYa.
