The paint code is on the manufacturers sticker, most likely on the front section of your bikes frame, and usually on the steering head down tube. If not, check the swing arm. It is probably Pearl White...
I have never heard of Harley divulging their paint codes. Matter of fact, for a very long time visitors to the factory were not allowed into the paint section of the factory. Their method of painting was, and probably still is, a very closely guarded secret. But, maybe things have changed. At any rate, I'm sorry that I cannot help you with paint codes as I do not have any of that information.
The Dupont code for this color is J3852K and the PPG code is DBC4798 Thry first spraying on smal piece of plastic and compair it to your original paint.
Hello, From my experence with most Motorcycles the Color Code is Not Easily Available to find like most Cars (under the Hood or in the Door Jam). I have Noticed on "All" Harleys and Some *** Bikes there is a "Label" with the Paint "Color Name" under the Fuel Tank. Also All Motorcycle Dealers have a "Paint Code Book" that lists All of the Painted Parts with the Colors by: Year, Make and Model. For Example: in 1997 Harleys used "States Blue Pearl" and in 2002 Harleys used "Luxury Blue" and 2005 Harleys used "Rich Sunglo Blue" & "Chopper Blue". So if you can't find a "Paint Label" on your bike? you shoud be able to call you Local Yamaha Dealers Parts Dept. and give him your: Year, Make & Model and he can tell you over the phone the Name of the Color of you Paint. Also "PPG" who is one of the Largest Mfg's of Automotive Paint also has a Computer listing of most Motorcycle Paints and can mix some up for you. Look in you local phone book under Automotive Paint Suppliers. Thanks Azharleybob
