The 99 cbrs have a zenner diode in the ignition switch that runs to the pink wire, which reduces the power from 12v to 9v(the amount needed for the fuel pump to run,) it's a safety thing Honda did so people couldn't just hot wire it.if that is broken, it won't start.
hi. I had the same issues with coil. If you google How to replace coil on cbr 250 or whatever bike you have it shows everything step by step instructions even how to pull tank off everything....it is really good so check it out. Hope you find it helpful. Cheers Mira
94 cbr 900rr starter relay keeps popping the 30 amp fuse. changed out the entire wiring harness and change the the starter relay, and its still doing it, the voltage regulator was getting hot then blowing the fuse, thats been changed but its still doing it
