This is more than likely an internal fault in the instrument cluster since the other lights stay bright and you can control them. I suspect that you may need to remove the cluster and have it rebuilt to cure this problem
Nothing working on the instrument cluster ? Shouldn't be a battery problem with being only five months old. Turn on the headlamps , do they shine bright ? Does the check engine light come on when you turn the key to the on position ? Do all warning lights come on with the key on , then some go off after a few seconds ? Checking for diagnostic trouble codes in the instrument cluster would be a good thing to do also . The Instrument cluster could be the problem .
check the cluster dimmer switch make sure not turned all the way down to keep instrument cluster lights from glowing brightly.if dimmer switch not turned way down look for blowed instrument cluster fuse.
This is usually due to a connector terminal that is loose in the connector. It might even be the connector right on the back of the cluster. The female end of the connector has terminals that the pins on the female side slip into. When the terminals are not set in the connector, they slip back causing an intermittent connection.
Your instrument cluster and console lights are protected by fuse #2 (15 Amp) in the underhood fuse and relay box. They actually get power from the tail lamp relay. If the tail lamps are working, the relay and the fuse is not your problem. The brightness of these lights are controlled by the Multiplex Control Unit and theCPU built into the instrument gauge cluster. The dimmer circuits are actually integral with the instrument cluster. If the tail lights are working and the lighting in the instrument cluster is working, then the problem is either a CPU failure in the instrument cluster or an open circuit between the instrument cluster and the center console lights. The console lights themselves should have power all the time that the tail lights are turned on. The CPU in the instrument cluster provides ground for them to function. The wiring is a little different depending on which model you have and how it is equipped (LX, DX, EX, LX with side curtain airbags, etc.) however, the function is the same.
I highly recommend scanning your computer network for fault codes before spending a lot of time trying to perform electrical diagnosis. There may be a fault code present that will lead directly to the cause.
Turn Signal (Right) white/tan (F), white/yellow (R) + TIPM, green 16 pin plug, pin 3; green 26 pin plug, pin 4 The TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module) is in the engine compartment, on the passenger side fender.

Your dash lights are actually white (clear) standard bulbs. The light is filtered by a blue insert. Jeep made it that way to even out the lighting and also because it's less distracting than if it was pure white light. (also because looking at a bright white dash and then back at the road can cause momentary night blindness, especially in older people whose eyes do not correct as quickly as they once did:. You likely could remove the instrument cluster and take out the blue shielding but once out, you may decide it was actually better the way it was.
if the alarm system is the problem, then "ANTI THEFT" would be flashing on the instrument cluster in bright yellow lights. I would verify that hte battery is good and good connections at the battery.
yes those can be replaced, look on youtube.com for videos of folks pulling clusters. if they all went out however, i would be looking at a common element such as the cluster light brightness control.
