Wiring diagram i bought a 1986 monte carlo ss. someone cut the wires under the hood & i need 2 know what color wires go where. can you help? i swapped the 305 for a carburated 350 i just need the neccessary wires to get it running

Uh, the actual firing order is 1 2 3 4 5 6. There should be a sticker under hood that shows proper wire routing to the 3 coilsI need help with the 97 3.1 v6 monte carlo ls firing order?
The firing order goes 1-6-4-3-5-2 im pretty sure im not too familiar with v 6's

Lots of modern cars, post digital, aren't fitted with a conventional flasher unit and instead use a single black box for all the timing functions - courtesy lights, wiper delay, flashers, etc..

You should check the wiring diagram to discover which system you have.

red wire is live (battery) yellow wire live only when ignition is on, black wire is earth(car body) there should also be 4 pairs of wires green,white,grey and purple these are your speaker wires you'l notice with the pairs of same colour eg white one is solid colour one has a black stripe the solid colour goes to live + on your speaker the one with stripe goes to - on speaker, same goes for the rest of the pairs hope this helps

looks like you may have a break in one of the wires most likely under the hood, also disconnect and reconnect the plug in at the fan.

i have a 2003 monte carlo and the wires came out of the plug under the seat. im trying to put them back in so my seat will be able to work. there are 12 wires that make up 6 connections. i need to know what wires go together. the wires are red with blue strip, red with green strip, red with white strip, yellow with blue strip, yellow with green strip, yellow with white strip, light green, green, peach, blue, light blue, and yellow.

Assuming this isnt after an accident, and you have checked/replaced both bulbs.

Check both headlight fuses, one is on the side of the dashboard in the little triangle shaped door with the fingerhole. Look at the diagram on the door to help you see what one it is. If that one is good, go for the main fuse under the hood. This one is located in the black box above your battery. If those are ok, you either have a faulty headlight switch, or bad wiring.

Pink Black and white.black is power white is ground sometimes it has a green stripe and black is reference voltage.

Day time running lights run low voltage to the high beam bulbs so it sounds to me like you need two new bulbs or you need to check the fuses and see if any need replaceing.

Your vehicle has 2 ignition wires that you can put back to factory, and start the vehicle.
The wires you are looking to put back together are PINK and DARK GREEN - and found under the D/S dash. (ignition harness - right side of steering column) They will be larger in Diameter than the others.
They were cut to install the security system. They go into the "brain" and out the other side. A relay inside the BRAIN is most likely failing.
If you no longer want the alarm installed, simply match up all of the factory colors. Use crimp-on but t-connectors for secure connection.
