You may be correct about the fusible link. Replacing a blown fuse without finding and repairing the reason it blew only leads to more problems and possible severe damage to wiring harnesses. Fuses are NEVER the CAUSE of an electrical problem. Blown fuses are ALWAYS the RESULT of an electrical problem. I would recommend taking the vehicle to someone who has access to the wiring diagrams and the proper equipment necessary to repair your electrical system. A blown 60 Amp fuse is nothing to play with. That fuse gave up it's life to stop your vehicle from burning to the ground. Please don't make it die in vain...car fires are never pretty!

1987f250 died while driving replaced battery & solenoid . Turn on the key and it's getting no juice , headlights won't turn on , no juice at all

Check ALL your main fuses, and check to see if there is a fuseable link between the battery and the fuse block. If so you will need to replace the link.

P0440 engine stopped

That code is an emissions cannister leak and is not related to the engine failure. IT is most likely the crank shaft sensor that is bad.

No electrical power to anything

Sounds like the fuseable link for that alternator circuit or the main power fuse for the fuse box is open.
Make model and year ?

2000 pontiac grand am has no power

If the car has no electric power and the battery is charged, the problem would be a major fuse, fuseable link wire, or connection.
You would use a meter or test light and start at the battery, working your way to the starter and fuse box checking for the open circuit.

Car won't start....is getting no power

A mechanic would take a meter or test light and check the major circuits for power as well as the ground connections.
There are fuseable links which act as fuse wires that protect the major circuits in addition to the regular fuses.

Car wont start

I think you have a bad fuseable link. Also,
I suspect your alternator is not charging your battery.

You have power with the new one, and it ran for the 20 minutes on your old battery. There also may be a
starter relay unit under the hood.
