Hi, i have a peugeot speedfight 50cc. its will not start, i only get a spark for the first 3 seconds then thats it untill i turn the key off, then back on again! help pleaae

If you buy the pinion you also have to buy the rest. Also on the axle is a circlip wich you must use. Otherwise the Carter where the axe is going in will be worn out. That is a problem if the starter is not working. They use the kickstarter to much. Its only a help not a thing to use each day. The parts for this are here. USE SUPER UNLEADED GAS, that will perk it up, also get the hottest spark plug you can get for it, check with the parts stores(the longer the electrode (end of the plug including the white porcelain) the hotter the plug) also make sure tires are inflated to there max allowed pressure too
Probably a bad regulator /recitifier. When diodes go bad on them the reg/rec leak current draining the battery.
So, I wound suggest you buy a new reg/rec,they're cheap and a new battery.
