The oil tank on your ElectraGlide is on the bottom of the transmission. The oil drain is usually the plug closest to the left front corner of the pan. Loosen the plug just enough to drain a bit of oil out and look at it. If it's engine oil,it should be black. If you loosen the transmission drain plug, it will be much cleaner looking oil.

What weight oil were you running?

I don't recommend synthetic oil in H-D because it is too slick for the type bearings Harley uses.

We like to run Castrol 4T in our Harleys.

Cant think of why it would boost your pressure after getting hot

Look at the bottom of your oil tank from the right hand side of the bike. You should see a large pipe or hose running downwards towards the rear of the transmission along the frame. At the end of this pipe is a plug. Take the plug out to drain the oil.

look Under bike,just in front of rear wheel. You should also see oil filter there

either the float is stock or something is stopping it from moving
