The battery can be accessed by removing the right side cover and unbolting the smaller battery cover underneath the fuse box. The seat is removed by taking out the two bolts that hold it in place. I believe the two bolts are underneath the fender and go up into the seat You should not have to remove the seat to charge or remove the battery.

How do i charge a battery on a honda fmx650? where are the terminals?

Remove the saddle and the side plastics (left side).
Then you find a case for the battery, remove the bolts and slide the battery out.
To slide it out completely you must remove the wiring for the poles.
Then you can take the battery out and charge it with a charger.

good luck

Where is the battery in a 2007 honda shadow VLX 600

On a 2007 VT750 you take off the bolt behind the passenger seat, lift off the seat and the battery is under the driver portion of the seat.
On a VLX 600 take off the right side cover, then remove the two screws holding the panel with the fuse block on it, the battery is behind that panel.
