Hi depending on what type of chain is fitted to your machine, you will almost certinly need a chain riveting tool, without this you will have to remowe the rear suspension arm from the bike to fit the chain in 1 piece, best advice if you are not sure is to have some 1 fit it for you, inproper fitment can leade to problems, if the chain fails due to incorect fitment. check out the video on the link below.

My bike looses power in high gears

I don,t think the chain could cause this , try lubing the chain with oil and taking it for a ride see if that makes a difference , when was your fuel filter last changed or your air filter cleaned or changed.

How can I know if it is time to change the drive chain of my motocycle?

When the chain adjustement is to the end or the chain doesn not run smoothly with the wheel off the ground (tight and loose as it turns) then the chain is worn out

WHAT SIZE PITCH,CHAIN/SPROCKET FOR GSX750F AND CAN I GET MORE SPEED BY CHANGING NUMBER OF TEETH

Chain size should be a 530 link. Going smaller on the rear gives more speed, but less power!!! Going bigger on the front gives more speed also.
Keep in mind that one tooth bigger on the front sprocket is equal to 3.5 teeth smaller on the rear.

Changing chain on gsx750f 2000 model / katana in usa

you said it all, most bikes have a master link, if not you need a chain breaker, which you can also use if the new chain you purchase is to long. lift bike on center stand, loosen axle nut, then loosen chain adjustment screw nuts on both sides and turn them so the wheel/axle moves all the way forward. connect the old chain to the new chain and pull it through (while gearbox is in neutral). adjust the chain adjust screws on the axle the same amount indicated by the markers on swing arm until chain has a deflection of half inch up and down in the middle at the tightest spot, try turning the wheel a few cycles to find it. then lock axle nut then tensioner lock nuts.
