Question about Suzuki Tempter GR 650 Motorcycles

I have a cushman truckster with 660 Suzuki engine with efi,,under full accelaration it acts like its running out gas momentaryly then catches up and runs fine this happens under full acceleration. there is no backfire,or skipping,it doesn't act or sound like its electrical. I have 60psi at the pump and 40 at the regulator, also have vaccum at the regulator, I have also bypass the filter to see if this helps. I don't want to throw money at it trying to fix it. This unit has speed and crank sensors the crank sensors has been replaced. Please help

I have the same truckster it has a govenor on it when you reach 40mph motor cuts off take foot off pedal then press on it you could also bypass govrnor

what engine, in what country?
Each engine has its own EFI even gas and diesel
we can not guess what whats under your hood.

why not log into mitchell DIY and read it your self'
oops it asks same question.
the FPR is DYNAMIC and has 3 tests. not ONE .
the service manual covers all that, if you buy one,

  1. key on pressure
  2. idle
  3. and WOT< wide open throttle (same as #1)
and at full vacuum even less.
our engine is 2.0L and 2.3l j20 AND J23

31.3-36.9 psi.
but, (physics 101)
IT WILL BE more at wot by about 6pis (at sea level)

and less at full vacuum.
its a 1 bar, FPR.
wot = wide open throttle

this device does 3 things.
and compensates for altitude
and compensates for induction plenum pressures(vacuum)
at all throttle angles.
make sure the vacuum nipple does not leak fuel or its bad.

How much compression should a Cushman truckster with a omc engine have

cranking compression pressure is 130psi engine hot.
go on line , type in and there is a full manual for the engine.
I found it by going google and typing in--- compression pressure for cushman truckster omc engine.

Car will not start like its not catching fire , i have a 2008 suzuki xl7

old post. but will answer.
the starter only cranks the engine, that is it's only job.
if it cranks robustly (at crank shaft pulley ,see it) then its ok.
250 RPM is typical cranking speed. RPM
no starts are complex.
for any engine Gas, to start you needs 4 things.
  1. ALL FUSE TO EFI GOOD, TEST THEM. CEL glows key on?
  2. full engine compression and crank vacuum 5" HG or more.?>??
  3. Spark , try a fresh tune up with fresh spark plugs. all 6 sparking.?
  4. Fueling , must be right. not flooding , not starving
if spark and engine are good, all engines(most) will start with test fuel.
This one simple test. proves the engine is ok, and spark is ok.
and the fuel system is dead.
these checks , will let is work the 4 systems. that might fail.
this is the classic basics path.
and works 99.% of the time.

exceptions, are clogged melted cat.
or stuck wide open EGR
or ISC stuck closed, (no starting air.) use 10% throttle to prove that.
or flooding, if flooding use super secret unflood mode (opr guide)
hold the throttle (right foot) pedal to the floor, this cuts fueling
and the flooded engine starts, for full time or runs and floods and stalls again.
This is called basics , in all ASE books in print.

2008 suzuki jimny wont start Was running ok then

sure , they all ran like new, when new. or yesterday.
but not now. that means it BUSTED.

so check for spark.
if not spark then fix that.
modern cars have EFI, and all EFI cut fuel if the cars ECU brain
even thinks for a moment there is no spark (it can see it?
so spark is 1st. (if engine is good,)
ever give the car a full 60k mile tuneup, (100km)
if not why not?

Cushman truckster suzuki660 throttle body stalls dies backfires no power

It could be many different things. Check Fuel pump, make sure you have clean fuel filters, spark plug... make sure your getting fuel coming out of fuel pump by disconnecting fuel line coming OUT of pump & start Cushman if fuel comes out steady stream pump works good. Add some Fuel Stablizer w/ new gas this will help your fuel system dramatically..
