How do you take a seat off of a 2007 yamaha midnight road star

    Yeah DON'T PUSH DOWN ON KEY; from the "off" position turn counterclockwise against the resistance and you'll hear the click of the seat release. It's mechanical not electrical

Turn yur key to the left,,,dont push in just turn...you may have to jiggle the seat at the tank to get it released...mine gets stuck,,,when you get it off try some wd40 on the latch..
