I have a 94 suzuki rf 900 that only fires on two cylinders 1 and 4. im told its a ground problem but i cant find it. Does anyone know where to look or what else it might be.

Follow the coil wires, (the ones attached to the spark plugs), to the coils. One side of each coil should have a wire that goes to ground, possibly right to the bolt holding the coils to the frame. Make sure those wires are hooked up and grounded. There will be other wires going to the coils that are not grounded, do not ground those.

    Change wiring harness and cdi the problem is one or the other I changed both bike runs great now

Hi also if you dont find the problem in the earth for the coil then try your nexst search at the stater at the source of the spark.

Don't know about progressive but the best value is Hagon, plenty of adjustment, good quality, cheapest price, far better than a worn out OEM shock.

2nd gear slippage

No this is a gearing problem. I have the same problems. On a bike there are gears in the transmission the low parts in a gear are called windows and the high parts are called dogs. When the edges of the dogs get rounded off due to improper shifting it will slip out of gear and or not go into gear at all. You have to have the gears replaced. Its $500 if you know someone $900 if you dont.
