The large chrome cover on the left/rear or the engine(not the front cover with the round access plug in the center of it) has a slot near the bottom that the coolant reserve tank can be viewed through. This is difficult to see and will require a flashlight or cover removal. There are three 4mm allen head screws that hold this cover on. The upper right(4th one) is a cosmetic screw and does not require removal to get the cover off. If this tank is dry it would be best to remove the front radiator cover and check the coolant level in the radiator itself. Perform this only when engine is cold.
