SOUNDS TO ME LIKE THE PIN IN THE DOOR NEEDS TO BE ADJUSTED. OPEN THE DOOR YOU WILL SEE THE PIN THAT CONTROLS THE LIGHTS AND CHIMES (ITS IN THE DOOR JAM)AT THE BASE OF THE PIN IS A FLAT SCREW TURN IT COUNTERCLOCKWISE THIS WILL ENABLE YOU TO ADJUST THE PIN TO THE RIGHT HEIGHT ONCE THE CORRECT HEIGHT IS ATTAINED TURN THE FLAT SCREW CLOCKWISE TO LOCK IT INTO PLACE. THIS SHOULD SOLVE THE PROBLEM.
