Question about Harley Davidson FLHTCUI Electra Glide Ultra Classic Motorcycles

When I apply my 4 way flashers on my '03 Ultra Classic, the engine shuts down. My new horn shut down also. The individual turn signals work fine, but applied simultaneously for my 4 ways shuts the bike down.

I believe the simultanous pressing of both the right and left turn signal buttons is also used to set the or disable the security system. You may have a "conflict" that is so common with computerized stuff.

Where is the signal flasher located on an 03 ultra classic

On an 03 bagger it will be under the seat. You'll have to remove it. Under the seat is the battery you should see a little silver clip towards the back ledge of the battery tray. That's the turn signal module. Remove the clip and pull the unit up amd out.

Not sure about the horn but speedo, signals etc are all tied together with speedo and TSM. What codes are displayed????

I had this happen on a 2000 escort..The prolblem was in the fuse box itself..The computer KEEP ALVE MEMORY cicuit is tie with the flashers and horn ..And when the flasher or horn blew the circiut shorted and cause the car to shut off..Look very close to the fuse for the flashers or horn,, and see if you see a spark when turn the flashers on ,,or blow the horn..Crazy but i seen it before,,and had to replace the fuse panel..The one inside

Right turn signal sometimes flash sometimes not when it is flashing rev the motor up it quits flashing.turn on the4 way on they both flash even when I rev up the motor

The turn signals are only suppose to flash fron 4 to 8 seconds depending on the speed you're traveling. The 4 ways will not shut off automatically. If the right signal is acting up, it could be a loose wire. Hopefully this is the problem, if not then you may be looking at a new TSM or TSSM either way these are expensive.

2005 Ultra Classic ,Speedo Cuts Out Which In Turn Cuts Out Cruise Control, And Turn Signals Wont Shut Off,And At Idle Bike Engin Will Stall,But Will Start Up . This Is An Intermiten Problem

I believe the turn sigs, speedo and cruise are all controlled in part at least by a module under the fairing. It may need replacement or it could just be a loose wire. Sounds more like a loose wire plug or bundle, if intermittent.

Brake lights,turn signal and horn not working...

Check the wiring within the headlight shell--look for connectors that may be corroded or pulled loose. A little WD-40 will favor connection integrity when sprayed into the connectors, then coupling and uncoupling them several times. Hope this helps!

Flasher or turn signal switch

When you select left or right do any of the bulbs come on? If you select left check front and back left side if one of the bulbs did not come on the flasher will not work. Change the bulb that is out. Same with the right. If the fuse for the turn signal is good (check fuse or replace do not use visual, some appear to be good but are not).
The emergency flasher is different from the turn signal flasher. Look at manual for location of turn signal flasher. If you manually lift and lower turn signal control you may hear a clicking under the dash to locate the flasher.
